First and foremost, I have a deep and
abiding love for bright colors. I
paint only for my own enjoyment. Children’s
books and films, most notably Disney cartoons where color and design reign,
spark my imagination. I draw
inspiration from the Greats, such as Georgia O’Keefe, who used colors and
form in such an intriguing manner, Eyvind Earle, whose work contained lovely
minute details similar to the illuminated manuscripts of the 15th
century, and Piet Mondrian, with his use of grid-formations and primary
colors that capture the eye and the mind.
I seek to infuse all my work with my own color schemes and style. |
